Cllr Blossom Young
I'm Cllr Blossom Young. I was first elected to Newham Council in 2024 and re-elected in 2026, representing Beckton. I know Beckton well — I've lived just on the fringes between Beckton and the Royal Docks for the past 20 years and very much feel part of the community, so it's a privilege to represent Beckton's residents on the Council.
I care about the same issues residents care about — and want to see a greener, safer, fairer Beckton and Newham. My job is to help make sure things residents are concerned about get resolved — whether that's a repair badly handled, missed bin collections, improvements to parks and green spaces, or fighting for community assets. My job is to get the Council to work for you, so please get in touch if I can help with that.
